Those on the Cultivation Team will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a regulated horticulture environment with a preferable background in another indoor cannabis grow operation.
This Cultivation Team Member will be required to work collectively within the facility to ensure that all Flower phase plant growth consistently meets precise production schedules.
This position will take direction from the Head of Cultivation and work directly with other team members to comply with all daily production maintenance and plant health procedures throughout the duration of the flower and harvest phase for all plants in the facility.
This position will take on a range of plant & facility procedures to include feeding, cleaning, some IPM responsibilities, and following/updating key systems including METRC and the grow Management Software system.
Cultivation Team General Responsibilities:
Execute specific cultivation related SOPs without direct supervision or oversight Report all irregularities or variances from the SOPs to the Head of Cultivation Maintain the software Task Management and perform all assigned tasks to completion each shift Be able to complete a variety of different tasks, including adhering to precise feeding schedules and maintaining both plant health and stability throughout the duration of the flowering phase Monitor various aspects of plant health including signs of disease or infestation and communicate any issues discovered to the Head of Cultivation and implement necessary IPM applications as necessary Understand all aspects of plant tracking and maintain the ability to manage all plant tags in full compliance of the CRA's rules and regulations Understand and work within the full range of regulatory compliance requirements and/or prohibitions Cultivation Team's
Responsibilities:
Maintain flower phase feeding schedules and perform daily plant feedings utilizing Myndset's grow management software for specific room assignments Efficiently work through flower canopy to clean and defoliate plant canopy Remove and discard trellis during pre-harvest preparation Work with and train plants within the canopy Fully, vacuum, clean and sanitize flower room workspaces on a daily basis including:
o Grow trays (tables) o Flower Room barrels o Hallways and aisles Monitor and and advise on HVAC and lighting dynamics IPM experience is especially valued.
This role will have some responsibilities for pesticide applications Monitor and maintain overall plant health and production progress Perform daily plant health audits (health walkthroughs) Provide direct assistance to the cultivation process including working with the Head of Cultivation to meet milestones and other associated labor requirements Provide additional labor and assistance in the Veg Room workspaces utilizing Myndset's grow management software for specific room assignments:
o Cloning o Workspace cleaning and sanitation o Veg plant topping o Empty and clean water reservoirs o Inspect and clean and/or prune plants o Adjust lights Provide additional labor and assistance for all Harvest and Post-Harvest duties for specific room assignments:
o Removing trellis from tray o Removing plants from the identified Flower Room and trays o Working with the entire team on harvest days to prep, weigh and hang plants Perform routine plant/product scouting to ensure clear identification of potential pest or quality issues Non-plant waste management and removal Plant waste management and removal.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
