Job Description:
Shear/Brake Press Operator in our metal department.
The position is responsible for cutting sheet metal goods to specific sizes, and then bending/forming the pieces to specifications.
The position will utilize a shear, brake press, & other tools to perform these tasks.
1st shift 6:
00 AM - 2:
00 PM Brake Press Operator Job Requirements:
Shear material to the exact size required Analyze and Interpret CAD drawings to determine what types of bends are needed Set up and use brake presses to form metal as required Check the accuracy of the end product Proficient in using a tape measure and reading measurements to 1/32 Employ safe lifting techniques and capable of lifting 50 lbs or more, frequently Skilled in the use of various power & manual tools (EX.
:
tin snips, wrenches, squares, hammers, etc) Capable of being on feet for 8-10 hours daily Competent in interpersonal communication skills to interact with fellow co-workers Possess the ability to stay motivated to complete given tasks without extensive supervision Brake Press Operator Education / Training /
Experience:
High School graduate preferred but not required Prior experience is preferred but not required Forklift operation experience is preferred Job Type:
